Thinking Nation's 2025-2026 Impact Report
At Thinking Nation, our vision is that social studies education empowers the upcoming generation of citizens with the skills and dispositions required to both contribute to a flourishing democracy and thrive in an ever-changing world. Everything we do is oriented around that vision.
This makes that yearly reflection of developing our Impact Report an incredibly rewarding experience. We officially released our Impact Report on Friday, 10/2 at our first ever Gala. Wow, what an incredible night it was with a room of people who deeply care about the state of education and its role in shaping democracy. I am excited to share more but will save that for another post.
For everyone who wasn’t at the Gala, I’m excited to share our Impact Report that highlights so much of the great work I am honored to be a part of this year. Of course, Impact Reports are only snapshots of all that happens in a year, and while I wish I could capture all the incredible classroom experiences, professional development conversations, conference panels, and new resources over the year, I hope that the snapshots here are as encouraging to you as they have been reinvigorating for me.
This year we:
- Launched our New Minimum Standard!
- Won our first Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Grant
- Completed FIVE full course curriculums (Middle School Geography + U.S. History and High School Ethnic Studies, World History I, and World History II)
- Launched our partnership with Cubles
And more!
Thank you for reading, and honestly, we are only through the first quarter of our fiscal year and 26/27 is already going to be our biggest year of growth yet! We are so excited for what is to come. Thank you for your support.
